You Are Who You Think You Are

What is your narrative, and what are your thoughts and feelings about yourself? Your opinion of yourself is the most decisive thing about you. Your words are prophetic and will guide and direct your path.

Our decision-making reflects what we are inclined to do in any situation, and we create the atmosphere for what we desire to achieve. How we allow ourselves to feel about ourselves holds us captive or liberates us. When we feel good, we reap the benefits; when we feel bad, we reap the cost.

A closed mindset prevents us from moving forward in life. Being consumed by our circumstances and limiting ourselves to appearances stifles our progress. We can fall victim to our doubts or fears through habitual thinking, create possibilities through imagination, and create a pathway for ourselves; the illustration of the cleaning product 409, whose name derives from the fact that it took 409 trials before it reached the marketplace.

When you initiate a task, be prepared to finish it and address the matter as a process, regardless of the stumbling blocks you may encounter, like a baby learning to walk. When learning to walk, the baby will fall; at times, they may appear to fall on their face. However, within the baby, they know that walking is in their nature. The baby is relentless in their pursuit and not deterred by the task.

Within you is the ability to prevail over adversity. The key is to align with the task and not let the naysayers distract you from what you desire. Everyone starts at the beginning; there is nothing different in them that you don’t have within yourself to achieve your goal. Success or failure is an inside job.

Remaining steadfast and unwavering in your faith is critical to completing a task, and being patient and persistent means having faith in your ability to prevail. An inspirational person once told me I should write a book. He said you could write a book if you wrote one page daily for a year.

Do look at the enormity of any task; size does not matter. Take that initial step in the direction that you want to go, be persistent, and trust in the process as it unfolds. Again, size does not matter as much as the vision and the conviction to get there. Your thought is the most essential part of your being, and having the heart and the willingness to do the necessary work to move and manifest the desires of your heart is vital.

Another world is inside you, yearning to be expressed and yielded to. Think

what you would love to achieve, such as improved relationships with your loved ones or yourself. Sometimes, you know that something inside of you needs to be brought to fruition, whether you understand how to achieve it or not. These inclinations, once they are activated, never cease to be.

We put things on the back burner or memory bank, and they stay there until we decide to act on them. In the same context of writing a book, I was encouraged to write a book for many years before I initiated the task. It was interesting that I began considering it a possibility when I showed my writings to someone.
