Stay Encouraged In The Midst of The Storm

When you are going through a storm, even when it seems like a never-ending story—and yes, you have been through adversity before—it’s essential not to be consumed by the moment. I do not take things lightly or for granted because I have faced diverse challenges throughout my journey, but there has always been a point of resolution.

We may not know how, and we do not know when there will be a resolution, but I borrowed a nugget from what a client told me. I told him that when he got to the end of the rope, he should tie a knot and hold on. His response was so fitting that he started tying a knot in the rope and pulling himself up.

There is something about the audacity of faith. The Bible says we should not judge by appearances. Faith is our most enduring attribute. Our faith is our most enduring attribute. Likened to a pilot going through a storm and having to contend with turbulence, he is instructed to hold onto the wheel and persevere. The pilot knows the plane will crash if he doesn’t hold on.

In life, our goal is to get to the next rung on the ladder. Trusting in the process as it unfolds is critical to your spiritual unfoldment. Our God is incredible, and read about his ability to make a way out of no way. Our God is always present and a watchman on the way, and he will never leave or forsake us. In our walk of faith, we often state that he is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and that he is our God as well.

Even the Bible says we are to lean on the Lord, not our own understanding. Trust in the Lord with all our might and know that he will direct our path. We have Christianity and abstract notions that are too far and removed from us to be our reality. We negate that we also have the spirit of the almighty God residing in us.

As Jesus said, “The Father and I are one; this should also be our mantra. Being the embodiment of Jesus’s teachings should be our reality. We are encouraged to let this mind be in us, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being a form of God, did not see it as robbery to be equal with God. We are a Godly expression and manifestation.

Living a spirit existence and doing the will of God positions one to have the attributes of the Lord. We are to live a life that pleases God and not be compromised by our fears and doubts.
